7-a-side Soccer

7-a-side soccer is a variant of traditional soccer played with teams of seven players, and is a hybrid between 11-a-side soccer and 5-a-side soccer. It is particularly popular in amateur and school contexts, thanks to its intermediate size and rules that make it accessible and fun.

• Ball: a standard soccer (size 5) is used, the same as in 11-a-side soccer.
• Substitutions: substitutions are often unlimited, as in 5-a-side soccer, allowing players to enter and exit multiple times during the game.
• Goals: the goals are smaller than those used in 11-a-side soccer, typically measuring about 6x2 meters.
