Who we are

We are not the champions who play in big stadiums every Sunday in front of millions of spectators. We are not the professionals who play for work rather than for passion. We are all the others, those for whom sport is a passion to be practiced to have fun and feel free.

The Sport Leagues project was born in 2019, almost as a game, to support the organization and management of soccer matches among colleagues. Optimized over the years in its use and algorithms, by the end of 2022, it was decided to extend it to all users and expand it to other sports, adapting its logic and algorithms to meet everyone's needs.

Despite this change of direction, it was still decided not to change the purpose for which this tool was created, keeping it free to use for anyone who wishes to use it.

The purpose

The purpose of Sport Leagues is to promote fun and facilitate the management of leagues and matches that form those moments among friends that break or conclude the week and create bonds of friendship and competition typical of amateur sports.

Through a series of facilitating features, the platform simplifies some of the more tedious actions, mechanics, and functions. Thanks to the support of its constantly evolving proprietary algorithms, it allows the calculation of scores related to individual matches and the generation of balanced teams based on data collected during previous games. This will make every match balanced, engaging, and competitive for participants.

What do we want to achieve and where do we want to go?

The goal of this project is to create a platform capable of facilitating the management of matches among friends, covering the peculiarities of every sport practiced at an amateur level, while always maintaining two key concepts: fun and ease of use for users.

To this end, the platform seeks to limit the information necessary for score calculation, giving league managers the ability, in the case of sports that require it, to reduce the data requested from users for the calculations.
